Half Price Deals

Did you know you could get gift certificates for local restaurants and attractions at half price through your local radio station??

I had heard about this many times from my local radio station before and never bothered to really take a look at their offers on their website til now. Most of the certificates offered are for restaurants I don’t live near. This time, I found half price certificates for Grand Prix of Tampa. It’s a place where they offer go-kart racing, miniature golf, batting cages, arcade, bungee jumping, and even paintball!!

I thought, “Why didn’t I look at this sooner???” I thought certificates for restaurants were offered and I only thought it was one restaurant per week. Now I know different. So, I went ahead and purchased 2 $50 certificates for $25 each. I thought this was perfect. Hubby’s little brothers and sister will be visiting in a few weeks so this will be a great place to take them. We can now do more stuff there with the $100 in certificates and only spending $50 of our actual money. And if for any reason we don’t end up going, I know we’ll use it for paintball.

Do a search for your local clear channel radio stations and visit each stations website for their available half price deals. Here’s Tampa’s list of stations: Tampa

Next time you want to go out to eat, check your local radio station first for the half price deals and see if any of them are restaurants you’d like to go and try.
