Sun Detergent Review and Giveaway

I was given a bottle of Sun detergent to try out and review. I’ve never used Sun before but was very eager to try it out.

The Clean & Fresh scent was not particularly my favorite but that’s okay because there are quite a few scents I can choose from. You can go the Sun website for the available scents. The scent is very light and not overpowering at all so it’s good for those that like just a little bit of scent. I actually like stronger smelling detergent but I can’t find any that smells strongly after the clothes go through the dryer.

I used the detergent on a load of my hubby’s dirty work clothes (he’s an electrician and works on construction sites every day). The load came out clean to me so I put them in the dryer. Hubby later came to me asking if I did anything different in washing his clothes and I said no. He said it’s not as clean as they usually are after being washed so it must be because we ran out of the laundry booster we normally add to the wash. I just did another load of my daughter’s clothes this time. They all came out smelling great and looking clean. Guess I should’ve used more detergent on my husband’s clothes.

The Pros: it’s concentrated so that means the packaging is smaller, does the job just as well as the more expensive detergents – just may need more for heavily soiled clothes as is the same with any other detergent, that it’s HE compatible as I have a front loading washing that requires HE detergent, and is made from a biorenewable resource.

The Cons: I really couldn’t find any.
