The Sixth Picture Game

I read Life as Mom’s Sixth Picture Game post and decided to take part in it. Here’s the 6th picture in the 6th folder in my pictures folder:

This is a picture from our trip to Napa Valley, CA that I won from Meow Mix & Del Monte Foods last year. After our luxurious weekend of spa treatments and dinner and lunch with Iron Chef, Cat Cora, we wanted to take a hot air balloon ride over Napa Valley. The first group of people had already taken off as you can see the small balloon in the air while we waited for ours to be completely blown up.

Unfortunately, we never got off the ground. While we waited for ours to blow up, the wind had picked up and made it dangerous for us take the balloon ride. I was quite upset considering we were leaving very early the next morning and we wouldn’t have another chance to go back the next day to try again. It took me a few hours to get over the disappointment. I don’t know if we’ll ever be able to make a trip back to Napa Valley, but if we do, that’s the first thing I want to do when I get there. :) I can only imagine how gorgeous the view must be from a hot air balloon.

Anyway, if you want to play along, here are the rules:

1) Go to your photo folders
2) Select the sixth file folder
3) Open it and select the sixth photo in that file folder
4) Write a story for that picture, post it and
5) Select five bloggy friends to tag
6) Be sure to let them know they’ve been tagged

Like Fishmama from Life as Mom, I don’t want to tag people that don’t like doing these kind of things so if you come across this post and would like to participate, please do, and leave a link to your post in the comments here so I can visit your post.
