Thanks to MyBlogSpark, I was given the opportunity to try out Jiffy Lube’s service last month. It was perfect timing because my husband’s SUV was due for an oil change. After having so much car trouble with our previous cars, we are much more on top of car maintenance now and make sure we change the oil on a regular basis.
I was able to get to Jiffy Lube just before they closed for the night and they changed the oil, topped off the liquids and did their stated inspections and notified me of the areas that need extra service and quoted me the price for those services. We really couldn’t afford the extra services at the time and declined the service. I’m glad they weren’t pushy with trying to upsell me with other services. I loved that I could drive up and get the oil changed in 10 minutes. The fact that there was no one else was there sure helped.
So, since we’re on the topic of oil changes, how much do you know about motor oil. Motor Oil Matters is a great informational site. There’s quite a lot of information on the website. Try playing M.O.M Knows Best and test your motor oil knowledge. I didn’t pass the test!
