KidFresh Healthy Kids Frozen Meals (Giveaway)

Do you have picky eaters in your house? My daughter was never a picky eater until she turned 5. She used to eat everything we’d put in front of her without a problem. Nowadays, it takes forever to get her to finish her meal. I mean seriously, it takes her sooo long! She’s is always the last one at the table still trying to finish her meal after half an hour.
Thankfully, we don’t have a problem getting her to eat her vegetables. Well, sometimes we do.

Here’s where KidFresh Frozen Meals comes in! KidFresh meals are all natural healthy and nutritious frozen kids meals. They are now available at Publix here in Florida and Georgia. They can be found in the frozen aisle next to the organic frozen meals section.

The Publix in my area only had four of the six varieties available. I got Totally Twisted Pasta + Meatballs, Rainbow Rice + Chicken, Spaghetti Loops Bolognese, & Wagon Wheels Mac + Cheese.

So far, DD has tried all but the Rainbow Rice + Chicken. She got through half of the Pasta + Meatballs and decided she didn’t like it anymore. With the Mac + Cheese, she told me it didn’t taste like regular mac and cheese. I think she is just so used to the one that comes in the blue box. The blue box is no longer welcome in this house! I tried the Mac + Cheese myself and I thought it tasted great!
IMG_2523From the picture above, you can see that it doesn’t have ingredients you can’t pronounce. I really like that! I read labels all the time and it’s very refreshing to be able to pronounce everything in the ingredients list. And it’s quick to see what are the veggies you can find in that particular meal as shown in the photo below.
KidFresh

Pros:
Healthy
Hidden veggies
Great tasting
Nothing Artificial
BPA Free and recyclable packaging

Cons:
Portion size (DD is still a little hungry afterwards)
Price (it’s a little pricey at $3+ each for our budget but it’s worth it)

In summary, it’s great to be able to get frozen kids meals that are healthy and nutritious and not worry about artificial and unhealthy ingredients. I hope to see the Quesadillas and Ravioli variety available at our Publix soon.
