The Whole Family Enjoys Owlegories + Giveaway

Owlegories Vol 1 -- The Sun, The Seed, and The Water -- with DVD image and cover (300) - small I was recently introduced to this new animated series for kids called Owlegories. It’s a cute play on words. Owls are used to teach kids about God through allegories, hence the name, Owlegories. 🙂

This definitely was very entertaining, even for us adults. My husband, who is very particular on what our kids are allowed to watch, gave this series a very enthusiastic two-thumbs up! I have to say that I wholeheartedly agree with him.

The creators did a great job with teaching about God in a fun and very entertaining way. It’s got some adorable and cute characters and cute puns. My girls laughed a lot through each episode. What I REALLY liked was that at the end of each episode, there is a special message given by a Christian leader to give a more in depth explanation of the lesson in each episode. This volume features Dr. Tony Evans, Author/Blogger Jen Wilkin and Pastor Matt Chandler.

This first volume has 3 episodes called: The Sun, The Seed, and The Water. The approximate runtime for the DVD is 52 minutes. I recommend clicking on “Play All” so you don’t miss the little interludes in between each episode. I think my kids enjoy that more than the episodes themselves!  Haha! You can always stop it after the interlude if you want your kids to watch just one episode. I’ll say it again, we give this DVD a: 2thumbsup The next volume comes out January 26th! Here’s the trailer for the first volume:

I’m excited that the sponsor is providing a giveaway of copy of Owlegories Volume 1! It is open to the US and Canada.

Disclosure: No compensation was received but was provided a copy of Owlegories for review. All opinions are my own.
